About Us ...

The CMT Association in Australia (CMTAA) began as a Support Group in 1988, and was incorporated in 1990 as a registered charity. It is run by a group of volunteers who have personal experience of CMT, either as an individual or family member.

Activities of the CMTAA include:

  • conducting information seminars;
  • distributing newsletters to members;
  • proving videotapes of seminars;
  • publishing a comprehensive informative Journal;
  • running established and sponsored Support Groups throughout Australia.

As a member of the CMTAA you will be on our mailing list for notices of coming events and information updates, as well as having the opportunity meet other people diagnosed with Charcot-Marie-Tooth Syndrome.
