Deaf film and TV festival
The British Deaf Association runs the annual Deaf Film & TV Festival held at Light House in Wolverhampton. The three-day long festival showcases the work of deaf filmmakers and actors from the UK and abroad and celebrates deaf culture and sign language through the moving image. As well as screenings there are disucssion panels, workshops and social activities. The 9th Deaf Film & TV Festival will take place in November 2004.
