We applied for funding for my 8-year-old daughter to receive a bike so she could be in something other than her chair when we went on family outings but unfortunately by time the company finally gave it to us, she was way too big for it and had some other issues arrive medically so could not and will not use it.
She was ok to sit on it during trial at the clinic but once brought home, she developed very bad nappy rash (not from the bike) and was very painful for her to even sit and since then has never used it taken it out anywhere.
It has literally been sitting in our garage under a protective motorbike cover.
